Trapster

Trapster is an iPhone and Blackberry app that helps you avoid speed traps. Users update the system to report police radar traps in real time. The more trapster users in an area the more accurate it is. Place your iPhone or Blackberry where you can safely glance at it while driving and it will alert you to reported speed traps. Trapster reports not only speed traps but red light cameras, speed cameras and more.

MotionX Gps Lite

The free version of MotionX GPS offers you a GPS interface for your iPhone suitable for basic navigation. Keep in mind that it does require a cell phone signal to display maps. You'll have basic features without a cell phone signal though. The free version includes a compass, stop watch, iTunes integration, and aerial maps. MotionX GPS is great for joggers, hikers, boaters or anyone who wants to have a basic GPS. The paid app is only  $2.99 and offers many features the free one doesn't have.
