Easy Spicy Chicken Marinade Recipe

Here is how to make an easy spicy marinade for chicken.

My wife tells me I make the best chicken on the BBQ pit she has ever had. My secret is just some regular ingredients from the spice cabinet and refrigerator and also in letting it stay in the fridge just long enough for get the chicken breasts really tender. It costs a lot less than marinade from the store too.

  • Old Bay Brand Seasoning
  • fresh squeezed lime juice (bottled  Realime will work though)
  • dried parsley flakes
  • onion powder (not onion salt)
  • ground black pepper
  • Italian  salad dressing (Kraft)
  • regular cooking oil

First step to make a spicy chicken marinade.
In a medium sized bowl combine a half cup of vegetable oil, two tablespoons of Old Bay Seasoning, two tsp  dried parsley flakes, one half teaspoon black pepper and a half teaspoon onion powder and one eighth cup  Kraft Italian Dressing.

Next step to make a spicy chicken marinade.

Squeeze four tablespoons of fresh lime juice into the  mixture, set aside one eighth cup  or so for basting if you are grilling.

Last step to spicy marinated chicken.

Add two pounds of boneless chicken breast into a heavy zip lock  freezer size bag and pour in the marinade. Set the chicken and marinade mix in the refrigerator for at least an hour before  grilling on the BBQ pit.
